Fruit King Cash Spins: A Full Guide to the Slot's Coin Respins

In short: Cash Spins is the only feature in Fruit King, a Greentube slot: six or more coins start a run of respins in which every new coin sticks and resets the count, and a full grid of fifteen coins adds the 2,500x Grand Bonus.

Six coins after a paid spin are all it takes. From there you get three respins, each new coin resets the count, and the feature pays the coins it holds when the respins run out or all fifteen positions fill, with the 2,500x Grand on top of a full screen.

Six Coins Start Cash Spins

Six or more coins in view after a paid spin start Cash Spins, the one feature Fruit King has.

In the base game a coin pays nothing by itself. The symbols screen labels it "Coin (Scatter)", yet its only job is to count towards six. Five is not enough. Five coins leave you with whatever the ten lines paid, however close the screen looked to a trigger. Jokers can't fill the gap either, because the joker stands in for every symbol except the coin.

How often six coins land is missing from the rules screen and from the studio's game page alike. Our own record is one trigger in 93 paid spins, on the fourth spin of the session. A single trigger is an anecdote, though, rather than a rate.

The Cash Spins Counter

The Cash Spins counter tracks how many respins you have left: three at the start, one fewer after each respin with no new coin, and three again whenever a coin lands. On screen it is a row of circles numbered 1, 2 and 3 under the reels, with the current respin lit.

Simple enough.

A coin that lands stays next to the others. A run of near misses ends the feature quickly; a steady drip of coins can keep it alive for a long time. The logo at the top swaps for a running total such as "10 COLLECTED".

In order, the feature runs like this:

  • Six or more coins land in a paid spin and stay in place.
  • Three Cash Spins are awarded.
  • A respin with a new coin holds it and resets the count to three.
  • An empty respin uses one up.
  • Finally, the round closes at zero respins or at fifteen coins, and every coin is paid.

Payment waits for the end. Only then does the game add up the values and bonus labels on the held coins and credit them as one sum. During our round the balance sat still at 496.00 until that moment.

What the Coins Can Carry

Every coin carries one of nine values, from 1x to 25x the total bet, or one of three bonus labels: Mini, Minor or Major.

The client prints the values as money, scaled to your stake. At the default 1.00 a 15x coin reads 15.00, which makes the arithmetic easy; at 0.20 the same coin works out to 3.00. The 0.20 and 50.00 columns below are calculated from that rule, not read off the screen.

20x4.0020.001,000.00
25x5.0025.001,250.00

Read on ; the maker can change a screen without saying so.

The rules list the nine values side by side. How often each one appears, they never say. Our round showed four of them (5x, 10x, 15x, 20x), plus zero coins with a bonus label.

Four Fixed Bonuses, Not a Jackpot

The four meters above the reels are fixed multiples of the bet, unlike progressive pots that grow as other people play.

On a 1.00 stake they read 2,500.00 for the Grand, 300.00 for the Major, 100.00 for the Minor and 35.00 for the Mini. We read them only at 1.00, so the 0.20 column below is our arithmetic. Across our 93 spins all four stayed exactly where they started, which is what a fixed meter does. The rules also describe Fruit King as a game for one player, whose result other players cannot affect.

The Four Bonus Meters

BonusMultiple of betAt 0.20At 1.00How it is won
Grand2,500x500.002,500.00All fifteen positions hold a coin; paid on top
Major300x60.00300.00Coin marked Major
Minor100x20.00100.00Coin marked Minor
Mini35x7.0035.00Coin marked Mini

Mini, Minor and Major arrive as labels on coins, then get paid with everything else when the feature ends. The Grand is the odd one out. No coin carries it: it is a reward for filling the grid, added to the coin values instead of replacing them.

Our Round: 70.00 Grew to 105.00

Our only Cash Spins round started with six coins worth 70.00 and paid 105.00, which is 105x the 1.00 stake.

We triggered it on the fourth paid spin of a logged session on . Along the way we read every balance the game server sent back and saved two frames from the round. The trigger coins showed 15.00, 20.00, 5.00, 5.00, 15.00 and 10.00.

Four more coins landed during the respins, two at 5.00, one at 15.00 and one at 10.00, adding 35.00. The feature then closed with ten of fifteen positions filled, five short of the Grand.

Paid at the end10105.00105x

The balance read 496.00 when the coins landed and 601.00 once they were paid.

Next to the whole session, that round matters, though it proves little on its own. Over 93 paid spins we staked 93.00 for 382.00 back. Cash Spins supplied 105.00 of it. One base-game spin supplied 254.00, while the other twelve wins added up to 23.00 between them, which means that for 91 of our 93 spins the game handed back roughly a quarter of what went in. Two rounds made almost the entire result. That is volatility 5 on the studio's scale, seen up close.

Filling All Fifteen Cash Spins Positions

A grid of fifteen coins is the only route to the Grand Bonus.

What follows is arithmetic rather than something we saw. Fifteen coins at the top value of 25x make 375x. Add the Grand on top and the sum reaches 2,875x. Labels change the sum, because a coin with a Major label pays 300x where a plain coin pays at most 25x.

How many labels can land in one round is a question the rules leave open. That gap is why the feature has no top figure anyone can work out from Greentube's own data. The rules screen of the build we opened, 1.303.0, also names no cap on a round's winnings.

Cash Spins Are Respins, Not Free Spins

Cash Spins are respins of a coin grid, a different thing from a round of free spins on the reels.

The rules call them "3 free Cash Spins", which is where the confusion starts: the respins cost nothing, but they exist only to collect coins. Two catalogues list free spins for this title, and one adds an expanding symbol. Novomatic's land-based Fruit King, a different game built for CoolFire II-s cabinets, does have free games; the Greentube online slot has none.

Two more things are missing from the online game: a gamble button and a feature buy. Cash Spins can only be reached the slow way. Fruit King Super Cash, a separate Greentube slot released on , keeps the coin idea with higher coin values. We have yet to open its demo, so this page quotes nothing from its screens.

Where the Feature Falls Short

The weak point of Cash Spins is that the rules give odds for nothing inside it.

  • Trigger rate: absent from every Greentube surface we read, and one trigger in 93 spins is far too thin to estimate one.
  • Grand odds: unstated, so 2,500x stays a printed number, not a probability.
  • Coin weighting: 1x and 25x share one list, with nothing about how often each lands.
  • Return split: the 95.00% on the rules screen covers the whole game, with no share named for the feature.

Our view: honest but opaque. Everything the feature can pay is printed, while how often it pays is left out. Some readers will call that normal for a slot, fairly enough, yet a hit rate for six coins would cost the studio a single line of text on a rules screen that already runs long.

We do not recommend raising the stake to chase the Grand after a dry spell. The meters are fixed multiples, so a bigger bet buys a bigger Grand, and nothing in the rules says it makes the Grand any likelier.

Watching Cash Spins in the Demo

In the demo, Cash Spins can be watched from trigger to payout at no cost: our free session hit the feature on its fourth spin at a 1.00 stake. You can read most of it before you ever press START.

Studying the round costs nothing here, while staking real money on it is legal only where local law allows online slots. Treat the demo as a way to learn the feature, nothing more.

  • Open the paytable first: its Cash Spins page lists all nine coin values and the three labels.
  • Keep the stake at 1.00 if you want coins to read as multiples, since 15.00 is then 15x.
  • Watch the circles under the reels; the balance stays still until the feature ends.
  • Count coins against fifteen. Ten collected, as in our round, still leaves the Grand five coins away.
  • If none of that fits how you play, set a loss limit before you start. The autoplay dialogue asks for one, plus a win limit.
