Checklist

Checklist: Where to Play Fruit King Slot Safely (7 Items)

In short: Fruit King can be played free in its demo, which we reached through a public slot catalogue. For money, local law decides: check that online slots are legal where you live and that the casino sits on your regulator's licence list.

There are two answers here. Free play comes first, in a demo that loads from Greentube's staging servers; real money comes second, and only on a site that a regulator where you live has licensed.

Note: This checklist is for anyone who searched for a place to play Fruit King, wherever they live. The free demo comes first. After it come the checks that decide whether a real-money site deserves any trust: legality, licence, return, stakes and limits.
✓
Start with the free demo
It runs on 500.00 play credits, offers all eighteen stakes and the Cash Spins round, and pays nothing out.
✓
Confirm that online slots are legal where you live
Real-money online slots are allowed in some countries and banned in others; your local law decides, not the casino.
✓
Find the casino on your regulator's licence list
Search the regulator's own list of licensed operators by company name; a site missing from it holds no licence there.
✓
Match the footer number against the register
A licence number means something only when the register shows the same company and an active licence.
✓
Read the RTP on the casino's rules screen
Our demo build printed 95.00% under RTP Range, and a casino copy may run a different setting.
✓
Check the stake range on the bet panel
Our demo offered 0.20 to 50.00 in eighteen steps; an operator may cut that range down.
✓
Set limits before the first deposit
Ask the operator for deposit limits and self-exclusion, and keep the three free services in this site's footer to hand.

The Free Demo, with Nothing Staked

Fruit King can be played free in a demo that runs on play credits and pays out nothing. That is the one route we can describe from our own session.

Greentube's game page shows demo buttons, yet its launcher returned "There has been an error" when we tried it. We reached the free version through a third-party slot catalogue, which loads the game from Greentube's staging servers: the address carried OGSTest and stage=1. A second visit through the same catalogue link returned a 404, so these routes come and go.

Our session on ran 93 paid spins at the default 1.00 stake and triggered Cash Spins on the fourth. A demo can't make anyone money, which is rather the point: it shows the rules, the feature and how unevenly a volatility 5 game pays, with nothing at risk.

Real-money play on Fruit King is legal only where local law permits online slots, and that differs from one country to the next. This site can't answer it for every reader, so check your local law before anything else.

Some countries license online casinos, some allow other kinds of gambling but no slots, and some allow none at all. The regulator's own website usually states which category it licenses. If casino games are not on that list, no website can offer this slot to you legally, whatever it claims.

Matching a Licence to a Register

A licence is real only when its number appears in the regulator's public register under the same company name the casino shows. A badge or a logo in a footer settles nothing by itself.

The register entries for the studio behind Fruit King show what a genuine record looks like. They describe the supplier of the game, not any casino that loads it.

Greentube's Own Register Records

Greentube Alderney LimitedGambling Commission registerAccount 39050, remote casino, since
Greentube (Gibraltar) LtdGibraltar licence PDFRGL No. 080
Greentube GmbHSwedish registerListed among licence holders
Greentube Netherlands BVGambling Commission filesNo record of its own

A register can carry more than a number. Greentube Alderney paid the Commission £685,000 in December 2021 and £1,000,000 in January 2025 over social responsibility and anti-money-laundering failures. Neither case concerns this game, but it shows why the record is worth opening rather than taking a badge on trust.

What the Fruit King Demo Can't Show

The demo shows one build of the game in full, but it can't tell you which build a casino runs. Our copy printed 95.00% on the rules screen, and the game server named that build "Fruit King 95%".

The rules screen of our demo copy prints one return figure, 95.00%, under RTP Range; we have not seen any other copy of the game. Source: our own screenshot.

That label names the build after its return figure. Whether casinos run other settings, the studio does not say. Read the figure under RTP Range on the rules screen of whatever copy you load, never in a catalogue: catalogues print 95.00% and 96%, none with a source.

Stakes a Casino May Narrow

Our demo offered eighteen stake levels from 0.20 to 50.00, with 1.00 as the default, and a casino's copy may offer fewer. The bet panel shows which levels a copy actually allows.

The Eighteen Stakes in Our Demo

BandLevelsCount
Low0.20, 0.30, 0.40, 0.50, 0.805
Middle1.00, 1.50, 2.00, 3.00, 4.00, 5.006
High8.00, 10.00, 15.00, 20.00, 30.00, 40.00, 50.007

Line prizes and coin values scale with the stake, so the 2,500x Grand Bonus reads 2,500.00 at a 1.00 stake and 500.00 at 0.20. The bonus meters redraw for the stake chosen, so read them after setting it.

A Namesake on Casino Floors

A cabinet called Fruit King is not necessarily this game. Novomatic makes a separate Fruit King for its CoolFire II-s cabinets, with free games and a volatility of 4 on its own scale.

The online slot has no free spins on the reels, and its rules name Greentube Netherlands BV as manufacturer. A machine wearing the name says little about the game reviewed here.

Limits and Self-Exclusion

Limits belong before the first deposit, not after a bad night. Ask the operator for its deposit limits and self-exclusion options before staking, and use them.

The game has a brake of its own: autoplay asks for a loss limit and a win limit before it starts. For help outside any casino, three free services sit in this site's footer. Gambling Therapy, run by the charity Gordon Moody, offers support to anyone, anywhere. Gamblers Anonymous holds meetings in person, online and by telephone, with no dues or fees. BetBlocker, a non-profit, blocks gambling sites and apps on your own devices without registration.

RTP Range
The rules-screen section that prints the return of the copy in front of you; our demo build showed 95.00% there.
Licence register
A regulator's public list of licensed companies; the Gambling Commission's lists Greentube GmbH under account 41020.
